Angela Mariano-Thurston, Ernie Vicente, Leny Corrado, Azfar  and Liam Kelly

Ernie Vicente is a Filipino stand-up comedian from Toronto, Ontario. With his surreal observations and quick one-liners, Ernie has been entertaining audiences since 2008. Starting at the world famous Yuk Yuk’s comedy club in Toronto. Since then he has performed in clubs such as Absolute Comedy, The Second City, Montreal’s Comedy Nest, and most recently performing at comedy clubs in the United States such as Los Angeles, Sacramento and New York City. He was just featured on CBC Radio’s Laugh Out Loud program. He has also been a part of the NXNE and JFL42 festivals.

Leny Corrado has been involved in stand -Up comedy for almost 10yrs.
His fast paced and animated humour is based on his married life ( 28yrs ) children (2boys) his day job as a butcher as well as everyday observations and his Italian background .
He is a regular at Yuk Yuks And Absolute Comedy clubs Pro-am nights. He spends his nights appearing at various shows throuhout the city – The Rivoli -The Corner Comedy Club -Club 54 and Crack Me Up Comedy productions to name a few .

Liam Kelly is a 20 year veteran of the Toronto comedy scene. Liam’s career has included sketch and improv with Second City before doing Stand Up ten years ago. Liam has proudly worked Yuk Yuk’s, Showtime Comedy and Comedyworks in Montreal. Liam runs York Region’s longest running comedy show: Devilishly Good Comedy at St. Louis Bar and Grill in his home town of Richmond Hill, now in its 6th year.

AZFAR ALI

Azfar Ali is no stranger when it comes to Entertainment, he can do it all – Radio/Podcasting/Stand up/Comedy Sketches. He currently does Stand-up comedy around Toronto and is going to be performing at the Rose Theatre in Brampton in May. He is also the co-founder of Off the Rickshaw Entertainment a company that hosts comedy shows in Milton and Toronto at the Comedy Bar. Azfar has performed at many festivals such as: The Brantford Comedy Festival, MuslimFest and Bollywood Monster Mashup. His style is in your face off the top of his head humour as he enjoys getting to know the audience while making them laugh.

Paul Haywood

One is swept up by this instantly likeable lanky looneytune, and kept by the depth of material and performance. Paul’s a high end, free wheeling hybrid, able to work absolutely clean (or not…) with ease. He draws material from his crazy everyday life and spins it into comedy gold. His natural improv skills keep audiences wanting more.

Paul has been a fixture on the national scene since winning the Toronto New Comic Search in 1998. Over his 20 years he has done it all from packed theaters of 1000 people to 25 people in a man-cave garage. He was even hired to dress up as a door man and heckle lawyers as they arrived at their corporate party – everyone has a different sense of team. Paul has his own one hour Comedy Now special and was a hit at CBC’s Halifax Comedy Festival.

Paul has starred in over 40 commercials worldwide, showcasing his comedic timing and antics. Most recently recognized during Blue Jays broadcasts as the goofy Dad who can’t catch in Honda’s trade-in your car event ads. Paul won a Bessie award for best male performance in a U.S. national Superbowl Budweiser ad. Some of Paul’s film & television appearances include; “The Squeeze” at the international short film festival, “The Santa Suit” opposite Kevin Sorbo, on the Hallmark and WTN networks across North American the sitcom “Dan for Mayor”, he even scored a small role in the recent Robocop reboot, sharing a scene with Gary Oldman.

ERIN KEANEY

Erin Keaney is an exceptionally talented actor and singer who has appeared in leading roles of award-winning shows all over the world.

A graduate of Sheridan College’s musical theater program, Erin’s hilarious quick wit made her an easy sell as she was snapped up by such hit shows as Crazy For You, I Love You You’re Perfect Now Change and the original U.S. tour of Rent. During her run with Rent Erin’s portrayal of “Maureen”, the quirky, hilarious performance artist, she recieved glowing reviews from numerous critics across the U.S. which resulted in the development of a huge fan base, standing ovations, websites, and fanatic fans that literally traveled from city to city to see her performance.

Changing gears a bit, Erin began writing stand up comedy and her own one woman shows. She was quickly booked and back on the road performing at huge fund raising galas in Philadelphia, San Francisco, Los Angeles and right here at home in Toronto. Erin co-wrote Death Of A Salesgirl, a play that was picked up by CBC, and turned into the one hour special To Die 4, and was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award for Best Writing.

Erin has made recent appearances on the last few seasons of CTV and The Comedy Network’s Comedy Inc., The Lifetime Network’s 1-800 Missing starring Vivica A. Fox, and plays a recurring character on YTV’s animated series Grossology.

GRAHAM TODD

Originally from Peterborough, Ontario (nee: Scott’s Plains) Todd Graham started out as a filmmaker and has even been credited by some, as the “Father of the Mash-up” * Since the 80’s, his short films have been screened around the world including at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Now, having focused primarily on stand-up comedy for the past decade, Todd has performed at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal as well as JFL42 in Toronto and for Laugh Out Loud on CBC Radio. Todd easily grows weary of speaking in the 3rd person and must lay down now. Good night.

Ian was a regular cast member and writer for COMEDY INC, COMEDY NOW, GUTTERBALL ALLEY and many more! Ian has been nominated for not one but two GEMINI AWARDS including “BEST COMEDY PERFORMANCE” This sharp tongued, take no prisoners comic can also blend in observational humour with a family focus all the while mastering the audience with lightning crowd work. A perfect fit for any fundraiser or corporate event Ian has been a regular contributor and was the winner of DYNAMIC FUNDS Humour Me COMEDY COMPETITION that pits CEO’s against other CEO’s under the tutelage of a comedian all in the name of raising funds for underprivileged kids.

Precious Chong {Tommy Chong’s daughter.}

Precious Chong is an actress, writer, performer, and stilt walker. She most recently starred in the Canadian premiere of Theresa Rebeck’s solo show “Bad Dates” at MTC’s Warehouse and toured it through Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. She’s performed her newest solo show “Zdenka Now!” at the Toronto Fringe , having already performed it at the Winnipeg Fringe and the Toronto Festival of Clowns.

Precious performs her comedic characters in Shelley Marshall’s “Full Bawdy Comedy Show” and Lunacy Cabaret in Toronto. She has produced, written, and acted in numerous short films as part of www.20buckfilm.com and is also a frequent contributor to CBC’s radio show Definitely Not the Opera.

She recently finished shooting “Amelia” starring Hillary Swank and directed by Mira Nair. Other film and television credits include “LA Confidential”, “Pearl Harbor”, “Show Me Yours”, “Strong Medicine”, and “According to Spencer”. She’s a graduate of the improv troupe the Groundlings in Los Angeles.

She has performed her solo shows “The Porcelain Penelope Show”, “Penelope Goes to Washington” and “The Porcelain Penelope Freak Show” at Highways Performance Space and the Zephyr theater in Los Angeles, the Havana theatre in Vancouver, B.C. and off Broadway at the Culture Project on Bleecker as part of Women Center Stage. It was directed by Michael Kearns who based his book “The Solo Performer’s Journey”, published by Heinemann press, on their collaboration.

Precious is also a professional stilt walker and works with Zero Gravity Circus in Toronto and is a founding member of the circus performance troupe, Roy John’s “Girls on Stilts” and has performed with them all over the world, from corporate events for Mercedes Benz to Jane’s Addiction at the Hollywood Bowl.

Melissa Story stumbled upon comedy in her early years in an effort to make friends and endure enemies. Years later, these skills serve as a source of income and a way to continue making connections with people who love to laugh. Melissa is an actor, writer, comedian and producer. She is the co-creator of the webseries ‘Sex and the Single Parent’, which has been nominated for two Canadian Comedy Awards and is a great success on the website ‘FunnyorDie’, boasting over 2 million views.
